Hello, my name is Joe, I am a Beaver scout sectional assistant in Gilwern, Monmouthshire.
I work for Motion Rail based in Crickhowell, Powys, doing railway safety sessions with schools and scout groups in the Wales and Western region through our Motion Reality campaign
Motion Reality is a Virtual Railway Safety world using a Virtual Reality Headset, The ‘game’ is themed around an Automatic Half Barrier Crossing and teaches Young People and Adults alike, the dangers of the railway.
The VR is designed in a way that is age appropriate while still being impactful if the young person choses to be ‘hit’ by a train and rewards those who cross safely.
