We have all been using local outdoor space more in the last year. A possible programme idea for all section is a spring clean of our local environment. Maybe a local park, beach, footpath, open space.
There is an international Scout event “Scouts Trash the Trash Day” which you can find out more details at https://scoutstrashthetrashday.org/ and get certificates or badges(patches!) they are 3USD each.
Trash day is more than just cleaning, it is a day to show the world what Scouting is about, showing our local communities scouting is active and make the world a better place. As well as possible recruiting new young people and adults into Scouting
There also a UK event at the end of May start of June “Great British Spring Clean” more details can be found at https://www.keepbritaintidy.org/get-involved/support-our-campaigns/great-british-spring-clean
