Cardiff Scout & Guide Gang Show are excited to share with you our upcoming season of activities – “Virtually” Gang Show 2020!
“Virtually” Gang Show is an opportunity for young people in The Scouts and Girlguiding to learn new skills from the theatre industry. Through virtual workshops and practical at-home activities, led by theatre professionals, you’ll be able to develop your skills and understanding of the world of theatre – on and off stage.
There are several parts to “Virtually” Gang Show in which you can get involved:
- Workshops led by creative professionals on a huge variety of theatre skills, for both on-stage and behind the scenes. We’re very lucky to have professionals who have worked on the West End (with shows like Wicked, Grease, SIX and Phantom of the Opera), as well as performer, Lucie Jones hosting one of our workshops!
- GS at Home activities which you can download and enjoy.
- “Virtually” Perform is the opportunity for you to take part in an online recording of plays written and directed by young people. This will take place in the second week of November.
You can join in with as much of “Virtually” as you would like, but our workshops do have a capacity, so please make sure to book quickly to avoid disappointment. Bookings open on September 2nd 2020.
With recruiting such a wide range of talented professionals to pass on their skills to young people, we thought it fair that they are paid for their time and work, so each workshop does have a charge. However, if you take part in all of the workshops, you can use the discount code GS2020 to get £10.00 off your bookings.
Take some time to explore cardiffgangshow.co.uk to see what we have to offer.
Enjoy, and we hope to see lots of you joining the workshops soon!
