The Hub (Area office)

The Area Office ‘The Hub’ at Maitland Street acts as a resource base to support Scouting throughout Cardiff and the Vale.

It is staffed by our Area Administrator and volunteers who provide general information about Scouting and activities in the Area, the office also has meeting rooms, a photocopier and a resource centre of publications and other material to support leaders. Please let us know if you would like to use any of these facilities.

The office is open Monday to Friday from 9.30 to 12.30. Outside these times an answering service is available.

The Hub is also home to the Area Scout Shop.

Facilities at the Hub

There are two unisex individual toilets, a disabled toilet and a kitchen area stocked with tea and coffee, please help yourself to this when using the centre. The building also has a designated store room and of course the Area Scout Office also occupies a room, the Area photocopier lives in the corridor so everyone can have access to this facility.
