Supplementary Modules

If you have achieved your Wood Badge and would like to either take on another role or continue learning, there are 12 other training modules you can do called the Supplementary Modules. These are in addition to the modules listed in ‘The Wood Badge’ section of this website (Modules 1 to 26) and are optional.

Some form part of the training for additional Scouting roles whilst others are there to add to your learning and provide you with extra skills. For example, if you are interested in becoming a member of the training team as a Trainer then Modules 27, 28 and 29 may be appropriate. If you want to become a Local Training Manager then Modules 30, 33 and 34 are a requirement of that role. If you simply want to improve your confidence or ability at running residential experiences such as camps then Module 38 would be beneficial, and if you have a Scouter in your group who has special needs then Module 36 could assist you.
Taking part in these Supplementary Modules also counts as Ongoing Learning

The following is a list of the Supplementary Modules:

27. Instructing Practical Skills 28. Facilitating
29. Presenting 30. Supporting Local Learning
