Becoming an Explorer
Explorers are the fourth section of the Scouting movement and managed by Districts, unlike the younger sections which are part of the groups.
As an Explorer Scout you will get the chance to take part in many activities either with your unit or with other Explorer Scouts from the District or Area. Many activities will be made available to you these may include, Duke of Edinburgh, water or land based activities as well as continuing to participate in the progressive award scheme of Scouting and The Young Leaders’ Scheme.
